- The nearest MRT Station is Expo (CG1). There are no complimentary car park tickets.

- all participants to be seated by 1.50pm. Please be punctual.
- electronic attendance sign-in counters will open at 12.30pm and close at 2.30pm 
- participants are to bring along their NRIC/Employment Pass for electronic attendance sign-in on day of event

10 CPD Points for certified FSM via e-Fire Safety Manager Portal. There is no SDU or PDU point awarded for FSM Briefing. FSM Briefing is not eligible for any funding.

Registration

Please note that: 2nd Run FSM Briefing 2017 will be held in November 2017 at a much smaller venue and seats are limited. Detailed information of the 2nd Run will be announced separately via email at a later date.
 
1.    Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation are deemed to have read, understand and consented to the terms and conditions set out herein. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person attending is aware of these terms and accepts them. By submitting the registration on behalf of another individual, you are warranting that you have made the attendee or participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.
 
2.    Registration is at the sole discretion of the organiser and it reserves the right to accept or reject registrations and to cancel any previously accepted registration, at any time at its sole discretion, for any reason, without liability to corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation.
 
3.    Registration is solely via Electronic Registration system. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to submit registration.
 
4.    To safeguard your personal data, all electronic storage and transmission of personal data are secured with appropriate security technologies
 
5.    Registration is on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED-BASIS, subjected to availability of seats and may close earlier than posted deadlines.
 
6.    All participation fee rates are quoted in Singapore Dollars. Organiser is not a Goods & Services tax (GST) registered entities.
 
7.    For registration by individual and corporate,  
7.1        payment of participation fee is solely by Credit Card  (Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Diners). Registration fees will be debited in Singapore Dollars.
7.2        After every successful electronic registration and payment by credit card, an electronic receipt will be send to the email address furnished in electronic registration. The electronic receipt serves as a confirmation of registration/guarantee of a seat.
 
8.    For registration by Government Agencies, Ministries and Statutory Boards, 
8.1        payment is via AGD e-Invoice Portal.
8.2        for payment via AGD e-Invoice Portal, contact person agrees to furnish correct and up-to-date information of the following in electronic registration to facilitate submission of e-invoice via AGD e-Invoice Portal by organiser.
                    -     Name of Ministry/Statutory Board
                    -     Department
                    -     Sub-Business Unit
8.3       organiser reserves the rights to cancel the registration should incorrect information for  submission of e-invoice via AGD e-Invoice Portal is furnished by contact person in electronic registration. The registration will be purged from the system and there will no notification of cancellation of any form
8.4        full payment must be made prior the actual event day to guarantee registration/seat

1      Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation are deemed to have read, understand and consented to the terms and conditions set out herein. 2      Organizer respects the protection of personal data. By providing the entry details in this electronic registration, corporate contact person as well as the individual or another organization are deemed to have given consent that the information be used for the processing of registration and in the provision of administrative services and support.
 
3      Admission to the event is strictly by pre-registration in electronic registration and full fee payment made prior said event day. If such fee payment is not made for any reason, the organiser may refuse to admit participant to the event and shall have no liability in that regard.
 
4      It is the sole responsibility of corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation to furnish accurate and complete entry details in electronic registration. There is no form of any amendment to be carried out once entry details are submitted in electronic registration.
 
No Replacement/Not Transferable/No Postponement Policy:
 
5      Registration/seat confirmed is not replaceable, transferable or postpone in the event that participant is unable to attend on said event day, for whatever reasons. Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation will still be liable for the payment in the event of no-show on said event day.
 
6      Fees paid are not refundable or transferable in the event :-
6.1         that Corporate contact person, as well as the individual or another organisation cancels registration after payment    
6.2         participant does not show up on said event day, for whatever reasons
6.3         duplicated registration submitted and/or double fee payment made and/or payment of wrong payable amount.
 
Attendance/Verification of Participant:
 
7      To verify participant’s identity, organiser reserves the rights to request for proof of identity (NRIC/Employment Pass) on site and/or said event day.
 
8      Please ensure that you scan your NRIC/Employment Pass on the event day  for recording of 1st Run FSM Briefing 2017 signing in of attendance.
 
9      Signing in of attendance on behalf of another participant constitutes voiding of both participants’ attendance and CPD points not awarded.
 
Attire Code:
 
10     All participants must be in proper attire. Those in shorts, bermudas, flip-flops/slippers will not be allowed entry into the event.
 
FSMAS Members’ Fee Rates:
 
11     FSMAS Members’ rate for registrations are applicable
11.1        to participant holding valid membership with FSMAS members
11.2        are not to be in any membership subscription arrears at time of registration
11.3        compulsory input of FSMAS membership number in electronic registration
 
Admission/Punctuality:
 
12     The event will start on time. Please be punctual, as organiser reserve the right to deny entry to late-comers until a suitable intermission.
 
13     The venue provider and/or authorized representatives of  the venue provider reserve the right, in its own discretion, without liability for refund, compensation or otherwise, to refuse entry to or to remove any person or to revoke the credentials of participant whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or offensive to other participants, or to organiser’s employees or who poses a threat to security or safety of the community.
 
No Smoking Policy:
 
14     The venue provider and/or authorized representatives of  the venue provider reserve the right to stop patrons from smoking in "no smoking" areas, including within 5 metres of the entrance or exit of the building, or to request patrons who refuse to cease smoking to leave the premises immediately.
 
Disclaimer:
 
15     Organiser reserves the right to effect changes in the event program including, but not limited to, cancellation of presentations or replacing scheduled speakers due to unforeseen circumstances, without prior notice.
 
16     Organiser has no control over the maintenance or management of the Venue
 
17     Organiser shall not held responsible for any disputes with electronic receipt issued arising from incomplete and/or inaccurate entry details furnished by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration.
 
18     Organiser shall not held responsible for :-
18.1        CPD points not updated to record arising from incomplete and/or inaccurate entry details furnished by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration.
18.2        CPD points not updated to record arising from participant not signing in his attendance and/or no-show on event day.
18.3        duplicated registration submitted and/or double fee payment made and/or payment of wrong payable amount by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration.
18.4        not receiving of electronic receipt arising from incomplete and/or inaccurate email address furnished by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration.
 
Security:
 
19     For reasons of security and safety,  the venue provider and/or authorized representatives of  the venue provider reserves the right in its discretion
19.1        to refuse suitcases, bags and/or other objects being brought in to the venue whether before, during or after the event
19.2        to inspect any bag and/or other item which any person wishes to bring in to or remove from the venue, whether before, during or after the show
19.3        to conduct random security checks on all persons within the venue at any time.
 
20      The event may be documented by means of photographs and/or video and/or sound recording by the organiser, or others on behalf of the organiser. By attending or participating in the event, participants consent that photographs and/or video and/or sound recordings of the event in which the participants are clearly identifiable may be used in whole or in part for all current and future media, without compensation or credit to participants.
 
Attendance Sign-In:
 
21     Electronic Attendance Sign-In will be implemented on the actual event day to make attendance taking procedure simpler and efficient. Each individual attendee will sign-in by scanning his NRIC/Employment Pass via barcode reader. The system will provide real-time reporting of attendee's attendance of the day.
 
Payment of Participation Fee:
 
22     Payment of participation fee by individual and corporate is by a credit card via PayPal payment gateway. If you do not have a PayPal Payment Account, please tab on "Check Out As A Guest" and furnish detailed information of your credit card.
 
23     Upon successful payment and registration, an electronic receipt will be sent to the registrant at the email address input in the system. The electronic receipt serves as a confirmation of registration and guarantee of seat. There will be no further confirmation there after.
 
24      PayPal payment gateway supports browsers like Internet Explorer version 9 and later, Chrome version 27 and later, Firefox version 30 and later and Safari version 5.1 and later.
 
25     if you are using your office computer, please kindly liaise with your IT Department to check for firewall rules installed in your office computer system network.
